HANDS-FREE CALLING AND AUDIO STREAMING

Stay safe and obey local hands-free laws with built-in Bluetooth® (HFP). Easily pair a Bluetooth® enabled phone to the AVIC-X940BT without having to go through complicated settings. When a registered Bluetooth® device is in close proximity to the receiver, the auto connection function automatically pairs the two units.

If you have a compatible audio player device that also features built-in Bluetooth®, you have the ability to wirelessly stream (A2DP) and control audio (AVRCP) to the receiver.

AppRadioLIVE simplifies your drive by combining the information you need during your commute into a single, simple to use interface. It’s YOUR digital lifestyle connected. It was specifically designed based on feedback from our current AppRadio customers and offers quick and easy access to personalized information needed in the in-vehicle environment including: Maps, Media, News and Calendar. AppRadioLIVE pulls content from many different sources and services which you likely already have an account with. All you have to do is download the FREE AppRadioLIVE app and sync your services. All you information saved on those accounts will be pulled into the AppRadioLIVE interface.

USB DIRECT CONTROL FOR iPOD®/iPHONE®

Pioneer's AVIC-X940BT is ready to roll with direct connectivity to your iPod® or iPhone® for music and video via the optional USB interface cable (CD-IU51V cable sold separately). Song, artist, time and album information are beautifully displayed on the 7" touchscreen. Powerful searching tools such as Link Play and Alphabet Search to help you find content faster. The system's wired USB connection provides direct digital signal transfer from the device for clean, clear sound while providing 1 amp of current to keep your iPod®/iPhone® charged.

The AVIC-X940BT offers a comprehensive map database from NAVTEQ® covering the entire United States (including Alaska and Hawaii), Canada, and Puerto Rico enabling users to route to millions of destinations including more than 12 million points of interest (POIs).

Partnering with Clear Channel Broadcasting Inc, our traffic tuner provides real-time traffic data for over 90 major cities in North America, including Canada. Check your commute route in advance or re-route to your destination to avoid traffic congestion. The ND-TMC10 is an optional accessory for the AVIC-X940BT. There is no subscription cost and no annoying on-screen advertisements. With our traffic tuner, now you are ready to navigate stress-free!

YOUR FAVORITE STATIONS ANYWHERE

Enjoy channels upon channels of commercial-free music, sports, talk, weather, traffic, and more! The AVIC-X940BT is ready to accept a compatible satellite radio tuner so you can listen and control to your favorite stations wherever you go, direcly from the receiver touchscreen. Currently, Pioneer offers the GEX-P920XM add-on XM Radio Tuner (tuner and subscription sold separately) or the CD-SB10 SIRIUS Bus Interface for SIRIUS Satellite Radio (also requires SCC1 SiriusConnect Universal Vehicle Tuner and subscription that are both sold separately).
