MIXTRAX is an innovative Pioneer technology that creates a non-stop mix of your music library complete with a range of DJ-inspired effects. Drawing from Pioneer’s rich DJ heritage with our passion for music, MIXTRAX delivers a unique DJ infused listening experience to listeners in the car. MIXTRAX takes the music from an iPod, iPhone, or USB device and plays it back with added transitions and effects, creating a virtual DJ inside the AVH-X1500DVD.

MIXTRAX works by first having the MIXTRAX PC software automatically analyze a track’s BPM, bar, beat position, vocal position and mood, then adds the analyzed data to the music file. The AVH-X1500DVD reads the embedded MIXTRAX data from your audio device as you enjoy precise, full featured non-stop mixes in your vehicle complete with album art that dances to the beat!. You can also experience MIXTRAX as an iPhone app and using AppRadio Mode to control the MIXTRAX app through the receiver's touchscreen display.

AppRadioLIVE simplifies your drive by combining the information you need during your commute into a single, simple to use interface. It’s YOUR digital lifestyle connected. It was specifically designed based on feedback from our current AppRadio customers and offers quick and easy access to personalized information needed in the in-vehicle environment including: Maps, Media, News and Calendar. AppRadioLIVE pulls content from many different sources and services which you likely already have an account with. All you have to do is download the FREE AppRadioLIVE app and sync your services. All you information saved on those accounts will be pulled into the AppRadioLIVE interface.

You are able to give tracks "thumbs up" or "thumbs down," bookmark a song so you can purchase it later, easily switch between your personalized radio stations, and view full track data and album art.

In-dash control for Pandora is compatible with an iPhone using the wired connection. Simply download the free Pandora Radio app to your iPhone 4S or iPhone 4 and connect it to the AVH-X1500DVD with the CD-IU201S or CD-IU201V interface cable (sold separately) and take your music to the next level.

USB DIRECT CONTROL FOR iPOD®/iPHONE®

Pioneer's AVH-X1500DVD  is ready to roll with direct connectivity to your iPod® or iPhone® for music and video via the optional USB interface cable (CD-IU201S or CD-IU201V interface cable sold separately). Song, artist, time and album information are beautifully displayed on the 7" touchscreen. Powerful tools such as Link Search and Alphabet Search to help you find content faster. The system's wired USB connection provides direct digital signal transfer from the device for clean, clear sound while providing 1 amp of current to keep your iPod®/iPhone® charged.

NAVIGATION READY

Easily upgrade to navigation with the addition of the AVIC-U250 add-on navigation system. This versatile hideaway unit allows you you to switch to navigation mode with the touch of a button. Get to your destination by inputting an address or search through the POI library while enjoying whatever source is currently playing.

CUSTOMIZE IT

Select among five (Blue/Red/Amber/Green/Violet) colors for the display and 112 different colors to match unit illumination to your vehicle's interior lighting. Also choose from several background images to suit your mood.
